Vincent Burris, Founder & Principal
Vincent Burris is passionate about performance improvement at all levels, from the individual to the business entity. Over the past 20 years, he has held multiple positions within various organizations, providing a wealth of knowledge and experience.
He describes himself as a ‘keen business scientist’; making positive contributions to his local community, and profession.
Inquisitive, reflective, and action-oriented, Vincent pursued his bachelor's degree in psychology with a capstone in Industrial/Organizational Psychology. He would later go on to earn a Master of Science in Leadership & Organizational Change Management, specializing in International Management. These degrees were accompanied with professional designations to include his ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE), Certified Six Sigma Black Belt (CSSBB), PMI Disciplined Agile Scrum Master (DASM), and Exemplar Global Certified Quality Manager certification. In addition to owning and operating Burris Quality Consulting, Vincent is also employed by Mecklenburg County Government as a Senior Process Consultant. He has served on various boards, including the area council of Area 23 Toastmasters District 37, board member for ASQ Charlotte and ASQ Government Division, Preliminary Judge for the ASQ International Team Excellence Award (ITEA) program, and a Baldrige Examiner for the Tennessee Center for Performance Excellence.
Vincent enjoys gardening, reading, listening to podcasts, cycling, exploring new establishments, and traveling.
